History & Biography
Poseidon was a thrash metal from the southwestern corner of Germany that rose out of the sea in 1988 – Bodensee perhaps? The band issued The Final Gate and its three songs independently. Close The Abyss was a demo. Dying Victim Productions issued a compilation for the band in 2015. It was called Back From The Abyss The Anthology.

The Final Gate depicted ‘death’ jumping over a gate with a maiden in his clutches. The anthology depicted Poseidon, the Greek god, surfing over the waves with a topless maiden.
