History & Biography The idea to create a funeral doom band came in 2015. Most original members of the band, Michał (guitar), Karol (guitar), Sludge (bass) and Kamila (drums), were at the Czech Brutal Assault festival. A funeral doom metal band since 2016, the band issued a song called Heart Of Despair in 2017 before 2018’s Soil EP through Solitude Productions. This was a digital release. The band appeared on the 13 Years Of Doom compilation in 2018. The songs were taken from the EP. Drummer Kamila left in 2018. A replacement was not found and the band went on hiatus.
Two members, Dawid and Michał, decided to reactivate Postmortal in 2024. The act announced its debut album Profundis Omnis through Aesthetic Death for May 2025. The band recruited drummer Kuba Szyma in 2025. Live activity ensued.
