History & Biography After a couple of previous incarnations and monickers Poughkeepsie became an entity in 2018. The Macrocosmic Demise demo became the Macrocosmic Demise EP on Horror Pain Gore Death in 2018.
Ambivalent Existence was a 2019 demo. Shows in 2019 were one with Cloud Rat, Gadget, Nerve Grind and Splatterface and another with Nausea, Nerve Grind and Doesnt Matter. Bassist Huero left explaining life was too busy.
Despite the band name, Poughkeepsie is a Los Angeles-based deathgrind three-piece, taking its name from the murders that took place in Poughkeepsie, New York in the 1990s.
