History & Biography
Powergod actually had three monickers in 1997 before settling on its definitive one. The band was the speed metal side-project of The Traceelords' Andy Brings and Haan Hartmann and was heard on Rock Hard magazine’s Unerhoert sampler. The band issued five lessons in evolution before disbanding in 2007. Sing sang on the debut and was fired. The group appeared at Wacken. Bleed For The Gods of 2001 was a covers’ CD. That's Metal Lesson II - Long Live The Loud in 2005 was another one of those cover bands and ended the group’s career. The group played at Earthshaker festival, Keep It True V and others.
