History & Biography
John Ricci again quit Exciter in 2018 with the remaining members expressing surprise and dismay. Former Exciter guitarist John Ricci’s new project Powerrage signed to High Roller Records to kick off 2025. A debut album was due out sometime in 2025. Also in the band was former Exciter singer Jacques Bélanger. Also involved was longtime Exciter manager and producer Manfred Leidecker.

Powerrage, featuring former Exciter guitarist John Ricci, released its debut album, Beast through High Roller Records on 24.04.2026. The album was mixed and mastered by Dan Swanö at Unisound.

The band reported its monicker goes back to the 1970s.
