History & Biography New York, USA-based thrash metal band Primal Scream was Alexander’s post-Carnivore band that, despite the album title, made it to album number one only. Alexander and Peter of Carnivore had a falling out. The band was founded in 1986 and had a demo called The Outrage Continues in that year. The album was played as a trio with Alliano the third to join. The demo songs were re-played for the record, which was Mercenary’s first. It was all over in 1988 even if Joe Haggerty of Crumbsuckers had joined on vocals and the band had an album called Superstructure in progress. The band was without a deal and Graham left claiming he was not allowed to write. Richard Day, later of Whiplash, replaced Graham. Alexander died reportedly in a bicycle accident on July 11th, 2005. Graham went on to become a right-wing gun nut.
Naturally, the album was re-issued in 2020. The demo was tagged on here. The band’s first gig was a benefit for the Hells Angels with Carnivore and Whiplash. The group would also open for the likes of Overkill.
