History & Biography The band was founded in 2022 and by 2024 had issued an EP, called Monas Hieroglyphica, through M & O Music. The band's style was ascribed as being groovy. The band switched to the Moroccan Darkside Records and released Dark Matter Manifesto. At this point, there was a 'black' in the band's name, there was a 'dark' in the album's name and the label's name. Everyone had guests on their albums and Sakis of Rotting Christ contributed vocals to this album. The band may have been based in Africa, but rules are rules and Primordial Black abided by the conventions. Accordingly, a couple of members left. Departing bassist Fedor Souissi had left in 2022 and was in and out of a dozen acts. Bassist Dalii Gharsellaouii and drummer Ben Hadida Mohamed left in 2025. Replacement drummer Sélim Bouladi was a mere studio/stage guest.
Tunisia-based extreme metal band Primordial Black had a video clip for the song Ruines Suspendues, which was taken from its Heterotopia album. It was released through Darkside Records on 15.05.2026. The band was booked for a local show called Mena Rock Festival.
