History & Biography
he Subliminal Genocide album by Xasthur contained a song called The Prison Of Mirrors. There were so many bands on the scene that the name became the monicker for multiple acts. This particular Prison Of Mirrors was founded in 2011. The hooded band played black metal. Nothing was the name for a 2014 EP. Drummer Suicide departed. No word if the departure was from this mortal coil. Unstinted, Delirious, Convulsive Oaths was a 2017 EP.

A debut album was 2020's De Ritualibus Et Sacrificiis Ad Serviendum Abysso. It was mixed in Iceland and issued through an Icelandic label. Atmospheric black metal band Prison Of Mirrors had a full-length, called De Sepulchris Occultis Et Igne Profanationis, through Aeternitas Tenebrarum Musicae Fundamentum on February 24th 2026. It was recorded at Sonic Temple Studio, and mixed and mastered at Studio Emissary. The two tracks added up to 30 minutes of music. Guitarist Anubis had departed two years earlier. The April 2024 departure was described as, "due to artistic and existential divergences." 2026 brought a gig with Noctisium and Urgehal.

The "occult black metal" band was present on Facebook, Myspace, Spotify and Deezer.
