History & Biography A Schleswig-Holstein, Germany-based progressive metal band beginning in 1993, the band had operated as Ragnarök (stylized as Ragna Rök) since late 1988. Ragnarök recorded a full-length demo, called The Tape, with Kai Hansen of Helloween and Gamma Ray in 1990. A further demo was 1992's Guess For 6'n'7. After moving into a new rehearsal space and undergoing a line-up change, the band changed its name, reporting that the new monicker has no meaning. The band claimed multiple record companies were interested, but signed with WMMS in 1994. The band spent two weeks at Roxanne Studio in Leonberg recording its debut album, Deuce. A second album was recorded, but went unreleased given how the debut was not distributed well or sold many units. The band broke up in 1997. Golden Core unearthed the material and released the Deuce compilation, featuring the demo material, sole album and unreleased tracks, in 2026.
