History & Biography Once upon a time, long long time ago, in an aeon shrouded in the mists of time, fogs of space and veils of history a band called Iron Maiden used to write good songs. Said band, wrote a song called Prowler. The seeds were planted and out came a forest of Prowlers as numerous as the sands on the beach. Every city had one. Every province had two. Every country had six. This particular Prowler was founded in New York City in 1984.
The thrash metal band issued a demo called Prowling Death Squad in 1986. A further demo was called Skull Cracker and was issued in 1987. New Renaissance Records issued the Prowling Death Squad EP on June 10th 1998. This EP added two songs to the name-sake’s demo tracks. The later bassist Mike Malinski was also later in Ministry Of Hate.
