History & Biography
This band was founded by guitarist Mike Baron and drummer/landscaper Chris Pernia as in 1999. The death metal band’s membership was linked to Pessimist. The band played the Milwaukee Metal fest and saw baron depart. The name was changed to Psychotogen as the band reported that singer Rob was a criminal psychologist. Demo 2001 featured singer Larry Gamber, guitarist Jeremy Grande, bassist Tony Pernia and drummer Chris Pernia. Perverse And Unnatural Practices may or may not have referred to US Republicans and was issued through the band’s Bring Out Your Dead imprint in 2001. It was re-released by Crash Music in 2002. Rob Kline was on vocals. The Calculus of Evil furthered hinted at the band singing about right-wingers. Mike Harrison was on vocals. The band did not last any longer to record and thus did not feature a new singer on another recording as Harrison had left before the end.

Psychotogen is a chemical compound that indices a psychotic reaction. Chris and Tony are brothers.
