History & Biography Amazingly, the band of two brothers has been a fact since 1998. The first release was 2001’s Överkill demo, which was followed by Thrash Attack. The Ancient War Gods demo of 2002 was a demo full of cover versions. Feel The Razor was a further demo in 2004. Several of the tracks were also found on the band’s The New Renaissance Of Speed & Thrash Metal, which was an independent demo initially before being given the re-release treatment. Deathstrike Records added the band to its Thrash Metal Blitzkrieg Vol. 1 compilation 7”. The band and Finland’s Wounds offered the scene a split next. A self-referential CD came next. Not A God, Just An Executioner was out through Witches’ Brew. Mega-Thrash Revolution!!!! was the 2023 album of Finland-based Pyöveli. It was out through Witches Brew.
Pyöveli translates from Finnish to ‘executioner’ in English. The band’s releases often come with side ‘thrash’ and side ‘metal.’
