History & Biography
The canine act was founded in the medieval city of Atessa in eastern Italy in 2009. Rabid Dogs was raised from the ashes of Italian death/grind acts Bestial Devastation (singer/bassist Animal, guitarist Lord Destroyer and drummer Brutal) and Tools Of Torture (Doc). The band issued a demo in 2011. It was released two years after being recorded by Cephalic Records in 2011. The Octopus was a 2013 EP. The band played at the Obscene Extreme festival in 2015.

Rabid Dogs’ Italian Mysteries album was out through Eclectic Productions in late 2017. The band was described as stoner rock/metal/grind. Italian label Time To Kill Records signed Rabid Dogs, The Italy-based band known for its grindcore, sludge and hard rock with cinema-inspired lyrics, in late 2021. The band’s new album Black Cowslip was out on January 28th. It was recorded and mixed at Kick Recording Studio in Rome between September 2020 and March 2021.

Rabid Dogs is also an Italian horror film from 1998. It was remade in Canada in 2015.
