History & Biography
There were many Rampages rampaging cross the world. This particular bunch came from northern West Germany. Their claim to fame was a member joining Helloween to replace guitarist Kai Hansen and another joining Gamma Ray, which was lead by Kai Hansen following his departure from Helloween. The band’s sound hinted at Def Leppard.

Rampage was active between 1978 and 1985. Victims Of Rock was taped in 1980 and was out in 1981. Grapow and drummer Mueller left in 1983 and were replaced by Henjo Richter (later Gamma Ray) and Rolf Krogmann both formerly of Airless. Hans-Heinrich Barth took over lead vocals for the second record. Sound And Action - Rare German Metal Vol. 2 was a 2022 compilation from ZYX Music featuring bands like Gipsy, Axon, Rampage, Mekong Delta, Warning and Darkness.

Grapow moved to Slovakia and became a record producer later.
