History & Biography Ravager out of Germany upholds the social critique roots of thrash metal since 2014. Two members had history with Excavator. Bassist André Sawade switched to drums soon after formation. Alarm Clock Terror was the 2016 demo. Several demo tracks made it to the debut album, Eradicate... Annihilate... Exterminate… The debut record's cover artwork continued the theme of the band's demo. With the second album André Sawade's Thrashletics imprint began pressing the releases on LP. The Third Attack reintroduced the alien character from its predecessor on its cover. The band announced bookings at Iron Fest Open Air and Burning Q Festival in 2023.
Germany-based thrash metal band Ravager had a new album entitled From Us With Hate still through Iron Shield Records in 2025. It was recorded at Soundlodge Studio and featured the band's alien on its cover. Atypically, the line-up had remained stable. The band had an album release show, which it called a tenth anniversary show as well, and was booked for the Erntedrunkfest Open Air and Chez Heinz in Hannover.
Guitarist Marcelk chose the name based on the song Ravager by Krisiun.
