History & Biography Ravenous, a thrash metal group, was founded in 1988 and lasted six years. Bassist Franz was one of the co-founders. The band secured first place in a Metal Battle contest. Franz moved to guitar and Eric was drafted in on bass. They had an album during this period. Ralf Hubert of Mekong Delta, who owned the label, produced the sole record. Guitarist Adi came and went. The group disbanded and, observing the rules of the metal scene, reformed a whopping twenty years later. Marcus and Jo were back. Second guitarist Joe and bassist Mex were part of the mix now, but the man left and a Stefan took over the bass. . The band was recording in 2021. Aside from sporadic shows the band also played a benefit for Ukraine in 2022.
