History & Biography Ukraine is not well-known for thrash metal. Instead, the Eastern European country is better known for black metal and riddled with Nazi metal, mallcore, tattoocore, mystical underground darkness shamanic deep wooded shady pop goth with ‘synth’ and other miscellaneous garbage, but Reabilitator – no word if the band and monicker are inspired by Anialator – is a thrash metal group from Zaporizhiain east of the country.
The band was founded by Prasolov in 2010 and issued a demo called Global Degeneration in 2012. The drummer had had to sing too as no singer was forthcoming. The band was completed by a couple of university-mates. Like all demos nowadays, a little boy in his basement had to run and re-release it (because funding actual albums takes actual record companies). The band was a quartet with Lololo playing drums and singing. Social Programming was out four years later. SF joined on guitar, left and re-joined in 2020. The group was a trio now. The band, otherwise, uploaded a couple of songs in 2020 and 2021. The band participated on the Ukrainian Resistance compilation to help raise funds for the Ukrainian military in 2022. The band had completed work on its third release.
Reabilitator had a lyric video for Holy Lies in late 2022. The song was on the band’s Mentally Defected album, which was released through Xtreem Music. A song called Deadly Infection was uploaded in advance.
