History & Biography Reapers was active out of Padua, Italy playing Metallica cover versions in August 2001 and was first heard through the Metalness demo of 2003. Guitarist Carmine De Franco had already left after a stay of two months. With Stefano of a Steve Vai covers’ band along, Deadsun Records of France signed the group and issued an album, entitled Metalness, to start 2004. The demo songs, including Reapers From Hell, were all here. Francesco Lilla gave up the guitar; Dario Pittarello picked it up and drummer Giacomo Sandon joined. The group played in Belgium and at Slovenia’s Metal Camp Festival.
Deadsun and the band were speaking about a new record, but World In Chains was a demo in 2007. The band played shows around Europe and Australia. Stefano Crivellari left right after the latter trip. Francesco Lilla followed. The act went the way of authentic pizza in New York City in 2008.
The band’s song Angels Of Metal was added to the Fret Nice video game. Dario returned and, alongside Luca, the band hoped for a rebirth in 2013. The band instead went the way of authentic taco at Taco Bell.
