History & Biography
White metal band Recon came together through Ochoa, Vette and Johnny Gonzalez of Seventh Thunder in 1987, disbanded in 1990, obeyed the rules of the metal scene and reformed for six years beginning 2001. The band did play the odd concert in the intervening years.

The flock had a demo in 1989, two songs on the California Metal II compilation of Christian label Regency and their only album in 1990. It was issued by the Christian label Intense Records. The band made sure its 1990 demo had both a white cover and tape. Ochoa joined Deliverance for a year, but he would join years later.

Another Christian imprint was responsible for the live comeback album. Mr. Starline was not part of the congregation anymore. Live At Cornerstone was also a video with many Xian bands. Cornerstone used to be an annual Christian festival. The band was working on a new record, which was to be called The Chosen Few. Rod Arias (of New Eden) took over the vocals. Christian label Roxx Records re-issued the sole studio album in 2016.
