History & Biography Respawn hailed from Berlin, the capital of Germany and was founded in 2002. Bassist Clemens and guitarist Eddie were the locals and old university mates. They found singer Mirko through an advertisement. Demo 2002 established the band as a thrash metal act and was followed by Nature's Foul Child in 2004. Respawn appeared in Poland. The band announced it would appear on stage at a Bon Scott tribute concert in Berlin in 2005. Singer Roland Peters left the act. Interestingly, the band uploaded a song called By Foul Design in 2007. Guitarist Eddie Mond left now and the band became a quartet, but used guitarist Vincent LaBoor (Fatal Embrace) as a concert musician. Respawn won the Wacken Metal Battle Germany (East) here. The song By Foul Design appeared on the group’s only record, which was The Chaos Engine. Respawn broke up in 2010.
