History & Biography
The band that was Witchtripper between 2015 and 2016 and DMP (Death Metal Pope) between 2016 and 2018 became Restless Spirit in 2018. Despite the middle name the band espoused doom metal in all its incarnations. 2019 delivered a demo called Lord Of The New Depression through the Lifeblood Records imprint. Guitarist Cameron Tidman had departed. Two songs were uploaded in 2020 using the Clarity title. Anthony Medaglia left the drum stool in 2021. Jon Gusman, who had left the act under the older monicker to pursue college, rejoined. Blood Of The Old Gods was released in December 2021. There was a video for the song Cascade Immolator. Tombs, Cloak and Restless Spirit toured the USA East Coast in 2022. Afterimage followed its predecessor by two years.

Pentagram had three US concerts in April 2024. Openers were Restless Spirit and All Hell. Restless Spirit had a digital live EP entitled The Doomed And The Dead... Live through Magnetic Eye Records on October 2nd 2024. The recording took place at the RPM Fest in Massachusetts, USA in September 2023. The band was opening for The Obsessed on the latter band’s 30th Anniversary Of The Church Within tour in the USA in October 2024.
