History & Biography
The black metal band was created in 1992 and had a demo called Messenger Of The Immortal Throne in 1993. The Satan Falls To Earth demo came soon thereafter. Still in that very busy year, local Los Angeles label released a debut record called Iniciation. Since everything must be reissued Nuclear War Now! Productions put this out again more than a decade later.

Nothing else happened until 2001’s Cursed Visions From His Infernal Realms.Summoner was on vocals and bass and Aggressive Beater was on drums. New music was promised for 2003, but never materialized as the label went the way of Ford quality control. Summoner announced his retirement from the live arena promising to remain with the band for recordings. Sacbe was to handle the microphone for concerts. Shows with The Chams were announced. Displeased Records announced a remixed rerelease of Cursed Visions From His Infernal Realm.

The group called its music “dark occult blackened death metal.”

Reviews

RESUSCITATOR - A WARRIOR'S DEATH - DISPLEASED
Resuscitator is a veteran California black metal band whose new album is an eccentric mixture of earlier Ulver, Dødheimsgard and Mayhem. The band's approach is certainly not cliched or stereotypical, but rather bizarre and always simplistic. In fact, there is nary a hint of musical ability apparent throughout songs like Blessings Of Satan, As We Conquer or Legions From The Past. Especially galling is the snarling voice of Sache. His vocal line sounds like a hallucinogenic lizard on acid. The band's sheer devotion to speedy one-note onslaughts is offset by the Sabbath-esque drone of Father Of Obscurity and the thrashing style of alternate riffs. Also glorious is the appropriate cover artwork.
A true devotion to unknown underground black metal is essential to appreciating Resuscitator. More importantly, being lost in a haze of illicit drugs will certainly heighten the mood for the absorption of A Warrior's Death. - Ali "The Metallian"
