History & Biography
These deathrashers were called Cryptic Warning between 2000 and 2006 and chose a new monicker thereafter. The members had been school-mates. The band wanted to try again and with heavier music. Summon The Spawn was a 2006 demo. Empire Of The Obscene was a 2008 demo. Relapse picked up the band and released the 2009 album Existence Is Futile. The picture that emerged next is that of a hard working band that is on the road as often as possible. However, simultaneously, the act has shed members all along the way.

Children Of Bodom was undertaking a North American headlining tour in celebration of the band’s 15th anniversary in January and February 2012. Support was from Eluveitie, Revocation and Canada’s Threat Signal. The Teratogenesis EP of 2012 was released on a fledgling label belonging to Toyota. Job For A Cowboy, Revocation and Cerebral Bore were touring and opening for Dying Fetus in Europe 2012. The band was heard playing music from Twilight Zone on a compilation for Close-up Magazine in 2013. The self-titled album featured guitarist Dan Gargiulo and bassist Brett Bamberger as well.

The group switched to Metal Blade and released Deathless. Great Is Our Sin, whose title was inspired by scientist Charles Darwin, had Ash Pearson on the stool whose band 3 Inches Of Blood was breaking up. However, by the time Netherheaven was released the group was back to being a trio. The group was singer and guitarist Davidson, bassist Bamberger and drummer Ash Pearson. The drummer had joined in 2014 and was a stand-in concert drummer at first. The group’s first headlining tour was in support of its latest album, Deathless. Archspire, Cannabis Corpse and Black Fast were opening for Revocation in Q4 of 2015. The band toured with Archspire in 2015. The band appeared at 70000 Tons Of Metal Cruise 2017. The group was next booked for Armstrong Metalfest in Canada in 2017, but first the group, Suffocation and Withered were to tour with Morbid Angel. The Outer Ones album was released in 2018. Revocation was booked for the Colombian edition of Knotfest on October 26th 2018. Revocation re-signed with Metal Blade in 2019. The band and Voivod announced touring in late 2019. Metal Blade bands Cannibal Corpse, Whitechapel and Revocation emerged from the pandemic and announced a US tour for February and March 2021.

Noah Young (ex-Warbringer) and Harry Lannon (ex-Single Bullet Theory) were supplemental concert guitarists. Revocation, Alluvial, Goatwhore and Creeping Death were touring to begin 2023. The band, Crypta and Skeletal Remains toured the USA opening for Morbid Angel in 2023. The band conducted a co-headlining tour with Unearth and had openers Entheos and High Command. It toured South America to end 2023 next and was heading to Australia (opening for Suffocation) and Europe (with Carnifex and Aborted) for 2024. Metal Injection festival was to feature the debut of the project Pallid Veil featuring Luc Lemay of Gorguts, Dave Davidson of Revocation, Liam Wilson of The Dillinger Escape Plan and In Flames and Elliot Hoffman of Carbomb in September 2024. This was a 2020 project stemming from the lockdowns of the pandemic.

David Davidson has graduated from Berklee College Of Music and often plays a seven string guitar.
