History & Biography
Gore and horror metal band Revolting has been active since 2008. The band thematically focuses on 1980s’ horror pictures. The idea came from Billy Nocera of Razorback Recordings. The act dedicates songs to multiple horror persona. Singer and guitarist Johansson has dozens of projects on the go constantly, but Revolting receives above average attention with regular releases.

Promo 2008 led to the Bonesaw Leftovers EP in 2009. It was issued by Last House On The Right. Dreadful Pleasures was the debut full-length released on Razorback Recordings. The act was singer and guitarist Revolting Rogga (who was on his world tour being in every side-project), bassist Grotesque Tobias and drummer Mutated Martin. Rogga collaborator Desmond Ambrose Root would contribute lyrics and artwork. The Terror Threshold featured leftover material from the 2009 EP as well. The band would next switch to F.D.A where it would establish a long-term working relationship. Visages Of The Unspeakable was focused on original material instead of any particular movie. The Shadow At The World's End would end up being on Transcending Obscurity Records. Born To Be Dead, in contrast, was on Xtreem. The band promised new music for 2024 at the start of that year.
