History & Biography
Ripped To Shreds was the title for a song protesting animal slaughter and carnivorous behaviour off Terrorizer’s 1989 album, World Downfall. The band was founded by serial project member Andrew Lee in 2016 and released its debut 埋葬 two years later. The ‘Máizàng’ album's title translates into ‘bury.’ Andrew Lee handled all vocals and instruments. Sniffing for the rerelease action, a ton of junkie so-called labels jumped on the repackaging action over the years. Three tracks were packaged as the Eight Immortals Feast EP and released by Nameless Grave Records in 2019. 魔經 (Demon Scriptures) was the 2019 EP and the group climbed the stage in Taiwan. Pulverised, which had issued the preceding EP, released a full-length called 亂 Luan in 2020. Horror Pain Gore Death released a split with Brain Corrosion for the band. The band was booked for Decibel Metal And Beer Festival 2021 in California.

The band acquired a full line-up and, now signed to Relapse Records, released 劇變 (Jubian) in 2022. Ryan was on bass and Brian was on drums. Brandon Corsair (Draghkar) was the guest vocalist. Michael Chavez joined on second guitar and vocals next. The group booked a tour of Europe with Live Burial. A gig was cancelled due to illness. The band opened for Ghoul. The act recorded a new album for 2024. The band and Nucleus announced a tour of the USA East Coast for the spring. There were a couple of gigs in Canada. Ripped To Shreds had an album called Sanshi through Relapse Records in September 2024. There was a video for the song Perverting The Funeral Rites, which was shot in Taiwan while Lee was on tour with Houkago Grind Time. The album delved into the afterlife in the context of Chinese folklore.

Andrew Lee is the co-owner of Nameless Grave Records. Andrew Lee is Asian so the band focuses on Asian themes.
