History & Biography
Out of a slew of bands ripping in this country and that country, this Ripper was founded in Santiago, Chile in 2007. Early drummer Miguel Sanchez (who stayed three years) was inspired by the Judas Priest song to name the band. A self-titled thrashy demo appeared in 2008. Destroy The World was the 2009 demo. The Exit was the 2010 demo, but the band forged ahead. Ripper released an EP called Fatal Memories through Metaltifus Productions in 2013. The band's first full-length was called Raising The Corpse. The name of the label was Underground Defenders Productions. It failed in its mission and multiple labels kept pressing and repressing the release. Experiment Of Existence introduced guitarist Daniel Poblete. Ripper was booked for the Evil Confrontation Festival in Chile in 2018. The Sensory Stagnation EP was issued in 2019.

Chile-based death and thrash metal band Ripper had an album called Towards Rebirth through Dark Descent Records in 2026. The line-up was singer and guitarist Patricio Spalinger, guitarist Nicolás Young (since 2023), bassist Tomás Barriga (since 2025) and drummer Javier Buzeta (since 2023).
