History & Biography One of several solo projects founded by Sergio G., who also owns Tragedy Productions, Rise To The Sky caters to the atmospheric end of doom and death. The man sprang onto the scene with a burst of activity and so Rise To The Sky made the most of the pandemic years.
A self-titled release arrived in 2019. It was followed by another independent release called Moonlight in the same year, which blotted out the moon and its light. In The Grave Of A Forgotten Soul was released in 2020 initially, but given the rerelease treatment by Tragedy Productions. GS Productions of Russia handled the next release, which was a full-length called Death Will Not Keep Us Apart. This was mixed and mastered by Ocean Of Grief’s Filippos Koliopanos at his Aesthetic Soundscape Productions in Greece again. A Cold Embrace From Life was the title for a 2020 EP. The release schedule only accelerated from here. Let Me Drown With You, which contained two chapters, Per Aspera Ad Astra, which translated into Through Suffering To The Stars in English, Every Day, A Funeral (now on Meuse Music Records and featuring drums by Emidio Alexandre Ramos of Adamantine, Colosso and Dark Oath) and more followed. The musician commented that Per Aspera Ad Astra to Two Years Of Grief were a sullen series inspired by the death of his father. Two Years Of Grief was accompanied by a video for the song Funeral For My Home.
