History & Biography The band was founded as a solo project by Paulus Kressman in Western Canada in 1997. He was known at that time for his drumming and vocals for Sacramentary Abolishment, which would evolve into Axis Of Advance following Kressman’s departure. The band issued a demo called Rites Of Thy Degringolade in 1999. Another follow-up demo was called The Caryatid in 2000. Totality introduced guitarist and bassist J. Worth. A single called Totality's Kommand included the song Totality and added two more tracks. An Ode To Sin was on Nuclear War Now! And available in late 2005. Malevolus had joined here. The act shut down operations in 2006. Paulus has always been a musician-for-hire and so spent time in other acts.
Expectedly, the act reformed in 2015. The Universe In Three Parts was a demo tape in 2016. It contained one song and was mostly available to gig attendees. The band was part of California Deathfest in 2016. The group was booked for the 2017 edition of Black Mourning Light festival of Edmonton, Canada at the Starlite Room. A new record courtesy of the old label arrived in 2018. N.K.L.H. was on guitar and mike. C.W. was on bass and vocals. The former left in 2019. The latter left in 2017 right after the album’s recording. The band did tour Europe with Auroch and Profanatica in 2018. This was the group’s first foray into Europe. Guitarist R. Rodas and bassist T. Goudreau joined, but the band was inactive regardless. A tour of Europe with Diocletian called Of Blade And Fire Tour was cancelled thanks to the pandemic. Paulus joined Demoncy on drums specifically for Mass Destruction Metal Fest in late 2023.
