History & Biography
There are many Rituals in the metal scene. This one was founded in 1993 and was active until 1999. The black/thrash metal band out of Los Angeles released the Blackest Of Evil And Mysticism demo in 1993. A demo called Goat Prophecy followed. Wild Rags distributed the next demo, which was called Wave To Appear. The same label released the debut album in 1995. The band was Ian (vocals, keyboards and guitar), Mike (guitar) and bassist Robert. A drum machine was used. Robert landed in jail and was absent for a while. He had desecrated several churches. The second record came two years later. The line-up had remained constant. Soldiers Under Satan's Command was one of the last products of Wild Rags. Ian was gone and Mike was on vocals, guitar and drums. This album’s cover artwork was used in modified form on Tsjuder’s Kill For Satan album, which is even similar title-wise. The act disbanded at this juncture.

The act adhered to the ritual of the scene and reformed. The comeback was in 2010, but the sole member was Ian Fleming now.. He and Robert had plotted a reformation in 2008, but the two fell out and, for a while, there were two Rituals. Someone in Canada called Funeral Rain Records issued The Resurrection. Matthew Roxx of Dreams Of Damnation helped on The Resurrection. The next release was a 2018 demo that Narcoleptica Productions put on CD. Ben Daw had joined the act on guitar. Ben did not last and soon Ian was the sole practitioner here. Samhain drummer London May stayed for a year in 2017 to 2018.

Aside from the aforementioned musicians many members have come and gone, sometimes lasting one gig and nothing else.
