History & Biography
Active since 2006, the Orléans, France-based black metal band was first heard through a rehearsal in 2007. Infamous had started playing with Blastum and the pair had recruited singer Warchangel to act as the “dirge of the chasm.” Bassist Krig was the last of the four to join the initial full line-up. The group climbed the stage for the first time in 2008. The Abduction Mass was a 2009 demo. The band and The Temple Of Baal shared a release called The Vision Of Fading Mankind in 2011. Agonia Records released this one. The act played at Iron Bonehead’s Ritual For The Dead in Berlin in 2011. The group was billed at Kill-Town Death Fest 2012 in Denmark. Beyond The Shrine Of Shattered Bones was a 2013 single. It was on yet another label, namely Blood Harvest. Guitarist Set was in the band between 2011 and 2015 and had made the band a two-guitar formation or rather was the “six vectors of hate.” His replacement was Da'ath. The group was billed for Italy’s Brixia Death Fest II in 2015.

Iron Bonehead Productions released the group’s full-length, Sacraments To The Sons Of The Abyss, in 2017. Longtime bassist Krig left in 2019. The same label as the full-length released the Hema Ignis Necros EP in 2022. It was the band’s first release with new singer and bassist Daethorn (Merrimack). The cover artwork was illustrated again by Chris Moyen. 2023 closed with an appearance at Prague Death Mass IV. The band, Necrowretch and Mortal Scepter were playing a gig in 2024.
