History & Biography
Rosy Vista was an all-girl hard rock band between 1983 and 1989. The founder was Romania-born Graterol who had moved to Germany after marrying a man from there. Anca had joined Palace upon establishing herself in Germany. Early Rosy Vista drummer was Gerda Maus. The act proclaimed itself Germany’s first all-girl hard rock band. Demo 1985 was followed by the EP You Better Believe It! through Noise Records. 1985 offered the band the opportunity to play concerts with Citron and Sweethard. The act would travel to Czechoslovakia to play with Citron as well. The band was based in Hannover and recruited keyboardist Barbara Schenker (sister of Rudy and Michael) in 1986. She appeared on the Tables Are Turned single of 1986. The group was already dropped by Noise and had tried its hand with new singer Susanne Schätzle to no avail. The group had a promo tour with Motley Crue and opened for Uriah Heep and others. Among other aforementioned acts Anca also was in a band called Rosy Sista! Schenker had left and moved to the UK.

The act disappeared but reemerged in 2002. Two members had been in the rock ‘n roll cover band Moulin Rouge together in the 1980s going back to 1982. The two would also move in tandem to Red M. Gaby Neitzel was the second guitarist briefly. The 2002 incarnation featured Hellmann on bass again. The members met again by coincidence at a concert in 2009. Hellmann, again, stayed for a short time. Songs were uploaded irregularly, but the sole album was called Unbelievable. The bassist now was Angela Mann whose husband was in Ignore The Sign with Anca. The album’s title referenced the act’s early EP as, beside newer songs, the quartet had included self-cover versions of the EP’s tracks. Angela left soon and Heike Müller entered.

F.o.r.t.y. was the name of a 2025 demo. The band was booked for Taunus Metal Fest XV in 2025.
