Buying this album will, at the very least, be supporting both an underground band and label. Shock Wave's first release is the CD reissue of a tape released three years ago by Poland's Loud Out Records. Slated for release by Turbo Records Mach II (i.e. On Line Records) the band finally finds the means to promote its brand of Brutal truth/French death metal to a wider audience. There is little revolutionary about this and the sound isn't the best, but played at loud volumes - and specially during the blast parts - the Polish four-piece makes for one hell of a frat party downer! - Ali "The Metallian"
