History & Biography
The USA-based thrash metal band combined thrash metal with fairy tales, science fiction and humour. The group reported it was part of a criminal organisation called Society RsG and a member of the orange and black attack. The band was founded by Matt Moore, Ryan Moll and Patrick Battaglia in 2002 and was active for approximately thirteen years. Atypically, the band was first heard through a live demo, called Raped By Bears, in 2003. Jason Sidote (XXX Maniak) was heard here. He had replaced a post-jail Mike Hrubovcak (Azure Emote) who had cut himself at his last concert with the band and ended up in the hospital. Having spoken directly to many American men's deep inner fantasies through the demo title, the group issued a split with Jumbo's Killcrane before signing to Relapse for Buried In The Front Yard…A couple of split releases later came the sophomore record, Living For Death, Destroying The Rest. Shawn Riley was on vocals and bass now. The earliest split had been on Red Candle Records and the third and final album was on Candlelight Records. The label had signed the band in the autumn of 2011. Patrick Battaglia had left and returned. The band was last billed at Obscene Extreme Festival 2015 - North America in Montreal.

Several members had had history together in other acts. They also played concurrently in bands like XXX Maniak or Slice!. Each member moonlighted in a dozen other side-projects. They were in so many other projects that names would even overlap. Consider names like Evil Divine and Divine Rapture or Solace In The Shadows and Shadows In The Crypt.

Rumpelstiltskin was an imp in one of the old German fairy tales collected by the Grimm brothers in 1812. The creature spins straw into gold in exchange for a woman's first born child.
