History & Biography
The Florence, Italy-based band was founded as Blind Demon (playing cover versions) in 1981 before changing its name in 1982. The act changed its name to Acts Of Sabotage briefly at the end of the decade before reverting. The band threw in the towel in 1994, but retrieved it for the time-honoured reformation in 1998. Like most time-honoured reformations that didn't work out and the band threw in the towel in 1999 (again). The time-honoured reunion was in 2006.

The 1984 demo was called Rumore Nel Vento. While this was sung in Italian, the act would switch over to English. The singer here was one Giancarlo Fontani. The next one was Demo 1985. The debut album was issued in 1986. To promote the album a single called Heroes Of The Grave b/w Warmachine was pressed as well. Sabotage and Paul Chain and shared a single in 1987. Paul Chain counted guitarist Andy Fois among its ranks soon. Hoka Hey was an Acts Of Sabotage record in 1989. The line-up had remained stable and even the logo was the same with "Acts Of" added. The band would report that the record company preferred the modified name in order to avoid confusion with Savatage!

The next post-reformation and pre-dissolution record came in 1999. Aside from the Caroli brothers, the line-up was singer Gianluca Landozzi and guitarist Leonardo Milani. A self-cover version full-length was called Rumore Nel Ventopost second reformation in 2008. Then it was time for… another self-cover version record. This one was Behind The Lines (2009). The second guitarist was Danilo Bacherini. The act was billed at 2010's Heavy Metal Night 3. Guitarist Popi was inducted in 2015 to replace Andy Fois. The act was booked for Padova Metal Fest 2019 and multiple festivals in 2021. The band was playing with Benediction and Distruzione in 2025. Andy Fois died in 2025.
