History & Biography
Sacral Rage is an Athens-based speed and power metal band since December 2011 that released a demo called Promo 2012. Vagelis had come up with the monicker. The line "Your sacral rage thrives among us…" appears in Hexenhaus' song Death Walks Among Us. A point of comparison was Agent Steel and the Greeks also deployed alien motifs. The Promo's two tracks also appeared on the Deadly Bits Of Iron Fragments EP of 2013. The label was Eat Metal Records. Promo 11111011110 (2014 in binary form) was a demo in 2014. Cruz Del Sur bit and released the debut record in 2015. The act appeared at Keep It True Festival, the XVIII in 2015 where Alan Tecchio of Watchtower made a cameo appearance on the stage with them. The band opened for Vektor in 2016 and Dead Congregation in 2017. Beyond Celestial Echoes. The album was dedicated to several dead metal musicians such as Annihilator's former singer Randy Rampage. The group travelled to France for Pyrenean Warriors Open Air IX in 2019. Chris Z. (Violent Definition) became the bassist in 2020. The band had already employed concert bassists in previous years. Sacral Rage was billed for Metal From Hellas IV and Up The Hammers Festival in 2022. The band was again billed for the Up The Hammers festival in 2026. The group was also at the Decibel Rebel festival.

Drummer Vagelis is one of those stool-for-hires. Members are also band-mates in Overcast, Παροξυσμός and Necrovorous among others. The act has changed its logo several times.
