History & Biography
Edmonton in Western Canada gave the world Sacramentary Abolishment between 1993 (with guitarist Markus Wilhelm and bassist Dustyn Nowosad) and 1998. The death metal act changed its name to Axis Of Advance following Paulus' departure. Paulus had picked the original monicker and would go on to Rites Of Thy Degringolade and more. The new name was meant to be the title for the third Sacramentary Abolishment album.

Misanthropy was a 1994 demo. Nebulous was the 1995 demo. It featured the debut album's songs and was spread by the band as the so-called label had no money or means to distribute or promote the group. River Of Corticone was a demo really, but pressed by the Catharsis imprint. Demo 1998 was the last release. The band was planning a split single with Deteriorate, but that never appeared.

Vermin replied to a racist question about the band Blasphemy by an interviewer with Vae Solis with, "the nigger is now a rapper and sells crack-cocaine from his ‘gangster car’. Anyway, who cares... he is just a fuck. Black metal is strictly a white man’s realm, as far as I am concerned. Elite music for the elite society."
