History & Biography
The death metal band was founded as Black Vomit (told you not to eat at McDonalds!) in 1988, spent a year as Sadist before going with Sadism instead. Early demos were Perdition Of Souls (1989), featuring the song Dark Side Of Sadism, and From The Perpetual Dark (1991). The debut album was called Tribulated Bells and appeared on the Chilean Toxic Records' label. The band was singer and bassist Ricardo Roberts, guitarists Raul Salinas and Pablo Pino. There was a gig with Curriculum Mortis. Darkside - recall the earlier song title - was a 1993 demo.

Deadline Sequences added guitarist Enrique Zúñiga and bassist Rene Sepulveda. A Dwelling Of Gods was back on Toxic Records. It featured Juan Eduardo Moore. No surprise, Summon introduced a new member (Javier Menares). The next release was an album called Two Decades Of Perpetual Souls in 2010. Sadism was billed at Macabre Chile Fest II in 2011 and The Metal Fest in Chile in 2013. The Ocularis Domination was supported through videos for the songs The Oracle and Slithering Among The Sheep. Alliance followed quickly. A 2017 single was called Al Azif. Sadism was booked for the Obscene Extreme Festival in 2017. Ethereal Dead Cult had the group function as a quartet as Gabriel Hidalgo was the sole six-stringer.

Sadism’s Ethereal Dead Cult album was released through Toxic on 14.05.2019. The band's Ethereal Dead Tour Europe came with the cancellation of an English gig. This one afforded the band a booking at Helsinki Death Fest in 2019. The Sadistic Key Elements release of late 2020 coincided with the pandemic and was one of those cover version albums that infects and clogs the scene. The band covered acts like Infernal Majesty, Kreator and Voivod. The group was back in Europe in 2022. Obscurans had the band on Hammerheart Records now. A return to The Metal Fest was in the cards for 2024. The band reached into the chest of scene cliches and issued a self-cover version record called Necrology (1997-2002) in 2025.

Drummer Juan Pablo is often acting as the act's producer at his Sadestudio. Ricardo Roberts is responsible for the group's artwork.
