History & Biography
This project was assembled in 2016 and took a break in 2022 before coming back in 2024. Moss Deceptiva was a 2016 demo. Caligari Records likes to re-press demos and did so with Deathspore in 2018. A full-length emerged in 2020. It was comprised of a story about warring insects and humans. Stasis Cocoon was a 2021 demo. By now, the band's inclination for the world of insects was apparent. Solo death metal act of Garry Brents (Gonemage, Homeskin, Cara Neir, etc.) Sallow Moth had an album called Mossbane Lantern through I, Voidhanger Records on August 1st 2025. Allen Gingerich, who was also in a band called Withermoth, joined on drums in 2025. The new man was also a serial project hopper. USA-based death metal duo Sallow Moth released an album entitled Hydrophilous Brood through Willowtip Records on 24.06.2026.
