Suicide Watch is the metal band of former Stampin' Ground members who have assembled here to play vintage thrash. That, and the presentation inclusive of the cover artwork, remind me of Mistress whose albums was recently released by Earache. The band's hardcore background shows. Yes, it is apparent in select songs like Inexorable and the short length of the tracks, but the main manifestation lies with the enlightened lyrics and commentary. Sound-wise though Suicide Watch reach back to early Kreator, Assassin, Vio-lence and even Sacrifice. The simple riffs, croaking and wicked sounding singer and the chugging riffs are nothing special or terribly exciting, yet fans of the style will probably have fun banging to this.
