Reviews SUPERHORRORFUCK - DEATH BECOMES US - LOGIC(IL)LOGIC
Superhorrorfuck!!! Where did these Italian zombies come from? Hiding six feet under in Italy must be it because this brash band is made of four rude ugly and pretty zombies with a sound made from a mix of glam, rock, horror, heavy metal and punk. It is high energy, anthemic and deliberately and naturally offensive.
Holy Zombie (Holy Bullshit remix) is a muffled bonus track recorded elsewhere tagged at the end of the disc, but the rest of this round zombie platter is loud, fun and horrific. Look what do you say to a band whose song Voodoo Holiday begins with the drum rhythm of Painkiller before yanking out the sax and playing the unofficial anthem for Haiti’s voodoo summer package? Sure, The Ballad Of Layla Drake would be good for Marilyn Manson fans, but there is so much heavy metal here with solos, toms and fast scream-alongs that heavy fans would not hate this thing at all. Hey, the guitarist solos like no other. Break Your Shit is as punk as puking on the CEO of War Inc. and Down At The Graveyard is metal at its core. Death Becomes Us tharshes and jams the way most bands don’t any longer. A couple of these guys have nice hair and a couple have boring short hair, but what does it matter? These guys give each other fake head on stage. They won’t like a girl anyway. - Sheila Wes Det
