THE FEW AGAINST MANY - SOT - PULVERISED
Here is what to like in this album: the vocals of Christian Älvestam (brutal and hefty) and the cover artwork (suitably evil by Dan Seagrave).
Here is what to dislike in this album: the keyboards (because wimpy keyboards are always wimpy), the clicky ‘drum’ sound (Mr. Amiga) and the silly logo (‘the few against many’ in wicked font mocking every malevolent monicker).
None of the band members’ names sound Finnish/Norwegian/Romanian/Israeli so it is difficult to say where all the weakness and lame pop baloney comes from. A couple of the members might have Finnish mommies who forced their children to perform the piano for the relatives and the neighbours as a child. Whatever the case, let us not make it our issue. Sweden/Pulverised Records/metal scene has so many better bands to offer that the whole thing can be ignored like a Scar Symmetry CD in a metal store! – Ali “The Metallian”
