Reviews TRIBULATION - THE HORROR - PULVERISED 
A first full-length after some eights years of existence Tribulation’s influences go even before then. The Horror is often speedy death thrash with a few hints of black that could have been heard some 15 years ago. The final product is closer to and in the mold of Thanatos or Asphyx. The Swedes have not taken the path of many of their other countrymen in sound or melody, although the escape is not full especially when the black metal creeps in. The word about the band is that Morbid Angel is a strong influence and that is perhaps apparent in the guitar solos but the eight full songs here are nowhere as cleanly structured as 99% of material coming from Trey Azagthoth and Co. The pace rarely lets up in this 32 minute plus release and the quartet have managed to present an Unrelenting album. Spot the Slayer riff in the middle of the closer Graveyard Ghouls. - Anna Tergel
