What is it about synthesizers, keyboards, drum machines and samples that attracts every little Finnish boy? Trollheims Grott has a good amount of Impaled Nazarene influence, but adds liberal doses of the aforementioned in order to prove two things. Firstly, the band misunderstands the concept of heavy metal. Secondly, they are true Finns and have pure Finnish blood going back 999 generations. Rammstein, Depeche Mode and EBM are not my idea of metal. Trollheims Grott could have figured the same out had they noticed why keyboard is the instrument of choice in the Finnish school system.
