Reviews UNCREATION - same - BLACK DRAGON/REPULSE
Boy am I glad these guys changed their name from Worm's Grocery because had they not I would have been forced to relegate them to the Demonic Fertilizer (another album reviewed this month) section of things. Stupid English aside (actually while we are at it what does the song It Up My Ass mean? Does Uncreation want to put the AWOL Swedish musician It up its collective arseholes?), this mini CD presents a band which specializes in the Canadian/American style of heavy riffs best exemplified by the likes of Gorelust, Mortician, Agony, Internal Bleeding and so on. While a certain duality in vocals adds some variety, the band will hardly disappoint fans of true death metal. Incidentally, at a guess Black Dragon is not related to the '80s French label with the same name. - Ali "The Metallian"
